Week three and week four!

I am a week behind on the blog as I had my first mishap with a batch. I was using a wholemeal flour which had become out of stock, this meant I had to use a different type of flour. However, differing flours work at different rates and it fermented at a very quick speed!


I had to make a new batch of the Warkworth wilds' due to the initial batch being too sour for my taste (and I like it sour!).


Week four I had managed to get my head around the fermentation times and I was on track with things again. I have introduced the Pan Marino and cholcolate sourdough breads for the first time this week. Both have differing flavour characteristics!
